Housed within a historic old romantic building in Inverness's bustling town centre, you will not find a more central location nor one so steeped in history from which to explore the vibrant old town of Inverness. The apartment is freshly modernised with a new kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen/living room has all the mod cons - fridge with freezer box, washing machine, oven with electric hob, microwave. The bathroom has a modern over-bath electric shower. The master bedroom has a king bed with bedside tables, a comfortable bucket chair and a river view. Additional hanging space for jackets, dresses etc is available in the hallway. The smaller second bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables. There is a large built-in cupboard to store clothes. As with the main bedroom, additional hanging space for jackets, dresses etc is available in the hallway. The living area part of the kitchen/living room is spacious with a pull out sofa bed for extra guests. The dining table can host dinner with a view with up to 6 seats. The cool baronial style window seats will host many a lively conversation. The fibre broadband will have good coverage throughout the apartment and there is a LED TV with a DVD player and collection of DVDs to entertain yourselves or the kids. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the building so reasonable fitness is required to reach the top, but boy are the views worth it! You will be able to enjoy spectacular views of Ben Wyvis, Inverness Castle and River Ness.. Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the flat are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and DVD player (with a range of DVDs available) and the cooking implements. I am happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure after 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Check in is via a coded smart lock for which you will be provided the code. Check out is strictly before 10am. The property is located in a desirable central location on the banks of the River Ness, opposite the Castle. The River Ness has been described as one of the most beautiful riverside settings in the UK, there are countless things to see and do including the tree lined walk to Ness Islands, Inverness Castle and Cathedral. If you're lucky you may even see otters, seals and salmon in the river, outside the apartment! Inverness has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs all within walking distance of the apartment, including the renowned Rocpool Restaurant which is directly below the apartment. There is a Tesco supermarket less than 100m from the apartment for all your shopping needs. The apartment is very central, so most attractions are easily walkable. There is a stop for the various bus tours about 2 mins walk from the apartment across the river. There are plenty of taxis and car parking spaces 50m. As previously mentioned, the apartment is located on the top floor of the building, so reasonable physical fitness will be required. There is a Tesco supermarket/grocery store less than 100m from the apartment.
